Error to backup PS3

i got the western digital my passport 250gb hdd
it wont let me fully backup my PS3 save file error code # (80010038)
any answer of why

Try this;

Manually transfer all pics, music, vids to another drive and delete them off PS3.
Next, go through your old game saves and game data, delete the ones you don't need.
Next, write down your usernames and passwords on other accounts, if you don't need their game saves on the backup, then delete them.

The goal is manually move and eliminate the problem without knowing what the corruption is exactley.

After you have cleaned up your machine as much as possible, try again.
